The Manor House Hotel

The Manor House Hotel, High Street, Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire GL56 0LJ, UK

Tucked behind a leafy canopy on the vibrant high street of the historic market town, The Manor House Hotel in Moreton-in-Marsh is a 16th-century country manor packed to the rafters with character. Flop-into armchairs, open log fires and cute nooks and crannies offer the perfect cosy winter setting. In the warmer months, the pretty walled gardens and light-filled conservatory invite you to indulge in an al fresco afternoon tea.

Food & Drink

With 2 AA Rosettes under its belt, The Mulberry Restaurant has seasonally changing menus that show off the finest Cotswolds produce. The eight-course Tasting Menu with matching wines is a must for all food lovers visiting this luxury hotel in Gloucestershire.

Saunter over to The Beagle Brasserie and Bar for chilled-out drinks and lighter bites. There are no formalities here just a relaxed atmosphere where you can eat, drink and feel at home with friends. We’re guessing you’ll probably want to try one of the famous signature cocktails at The Manor House too.

Rooms at The Manor House Hotel

The 35 bedrooms are country-chic in style and while in some you might find a freestanding bath, in others you’ll find a four poster bed or a pretty view. If you’re looking for an intimate retreat, Apple Cottage can be found in the hotel grounds and promises plenty of charm with a pretty garden, terrace and private hot tub.

3.5 miles (6km) | 2 hours
A pleasant circular walk, with views of deer (probably) and eagles (possibly). Plus the chance to see where raindrops decide whether to flow into the Bristol Channel or the North Sea. The route passes a fine farm shop at Old Farm in Dorn.
